Session facilitator, Michael Laurence, has 35 years of both formal teaching experience and working with computers. Formerly a Naval Flight Officer, he recently retired from a major Ontario university where he was Educational Technology Consultant. This position involved helping faculty and staff to advance their information technology literacy; as well he managed remote collaboration solutions (video and data conferencing) for that institution.
